Lok Satta Party put a question mark on the policy of the Govt. for releasing the Grants to Municipalities during local body election. He requested Election Commission of India to intervene in the matter.
Mr. D.V.V.S. Varma, Vice President of Lok Satta alleged that it is noting but to influence the voters during election. Govt. is benefiting the Contractors by allotting works to them. He alleged that Govt. is getting these works done through special officers of Municipalities to influence the voters.
