Release of ex-constable Abdul Qadeer urged

A special meeting of All India National Front was held here at Integration Hall on the topic of “Old issues in the new Telangana state”. Delivering his presidential address Rasheed Khan Azad fervently appealed to chief minister Mr. K Chandrasekhar Rao to release ex-constable Abdul Qadeer who is languishing behind bars for 12 years.

He pointed out that it is age old tradition of the world; he cited the example of India and Pakistan where hundreds of prisoners were are released showing goodwill gesture on change of governments. ‘Can’t a disabled prisoner be released in celebration of formation of new state?’ He asked. He also demanded permission to offer namaz at Charminar masjid.
