Seemandhra TDP leader Payyavula Keshav today said rejection of Telangana bill in the Assembly is a historic fact.
Talking to the media at Assembly media point, Keshav said the Telangana Bill was sent back as per the aspirations and desires of the Seemandhra people. The bill was rejected in the Assembly which was sent by the Centre and the President for views, he added.
TDP played a major role in sending back the Telangana bill, he said, adding that the party played its role in connection with Telangana bill keeping in view of the State’s interests. (NSS)
