Telangana Praja Front has been representing for reinstating the dismissed employees of Singareni Collieries for the past 18 months. Dharna programmes were also organized at Singareni Collieries Bhavan earlier by Telangana Praja Front.
The leaders of TDP tried to meet the CM but due to his electioneering campaign, it was not possible. Mr. M. Ved Kumar, Vice President, Ch. Prabhakar, Pujari Narsing Rao, and the leaders of Singareni Collieries dismissed employees union Mr. Tirupathi, Mr. Srinivas, Mr. Saria, Mr. Lakshman, Mr. Rajender and 10 others met the labour minister Mr. Danam Nagender and presented him a memorandum requesting him to use his good offices for reinstating the dismissed employees of Singareni Collieries.
TPF delegation told Mr. Nagender that he belongs to Telangana area and if the ministers belonging to Telangana fail to impart justice, their names would be dropped from the pages of history. Mr. Nagender promised that he would convene a meeting of the officials on Tuesday 22nd May 2012.
