Rehman Malik says conspiracy being hatched to bring pro-Taliban PM

Pakistan”s former Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that conspiracy is being hatched to bring a pro-Taliban prime minister in the country. Malik was addressing a press conference, along with Awami National Party (ANP) leader Shahi Syed and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Farooq Sattar, reports The News. Malik said terrorists want to disintegrate Pakistan. He said MQM chief Altaf Hussain had warned about Talibanization a year ago. Sattar alleged that Pakistani and international establishment was part of the conspiracy to hijack the May 11 polls. Malik said Zardari, Altaf Hussain and Asfandyar Wali had vowed to fight terrorism. PPP, ANP and MQM will have to chalk out joint strategy to fight this menace, he added. (ANI)
