Reham Khan dismisses ex-husband’s legal notice as baseless

Islamabad: Reham Khan, who recently divorced former cricketer and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan, has dismissed her first husband Dr Ejazur Rehman’s claim for 100 million rupees made in a legal notice, as unacceptable.

Mr. Rehman had asked his ex-wife to cough up the amount and submit a written apology for allegedly damaging his reputation, which the latter described as completely baseless.

The Dawn is reporting that Reham Khan allegedly made defamatory remarks against Ejazur Rehman during an interview to a television channel.

According to the reply forwarded by Ms.Khan’s advocate, Khurram Hashmi, she had spoken about domestic violence in general and it was not specifically about Mr. Rehman.

Hashmi, however, said domestic violence allegations against Mr. Rehman could be verified through judicial records available with courts in the United Kingdom, where the couple once resided when they were married. (ANI)
