Once again, AP High Court has struck down reservation of 4.5% to Minorities. How long this kind of treatment will be meted out to the Minorities? Everytime, some organization or the other approaches High Court and the Hon’ble High Court gives ruling agasint any kind of reservation on the basis of religion.
Mr. Mukhtar Ahmed Fardeen, President and Ahmed Siddiqui, Mukesh, Secretary of Urdu Mass Society for Peace demanded the Govt. of India and its Minorities Welfare Minister, Mr. Salman Khursheed that the Govt. provides reservation in every field of life for the Muslims but it is like a sword hanging on their heads all the time.
It is, therefore necessary for the Govt. to enact a proper legislation. Mr. Hadi Raheel, Dr. Ghulam Abaas Khan & Mr. Mohammed Samiuddin demanded the Govt. to take initative in this direction.
