Incidents of violation of election rules are coming to the fore in three assembly constituencies in old city. Sensing the defeat in three segments the regional political party has planned booth capturing and rigging through antisocial elements, wealth and non-local people.
The party expedited its activities and tried to instil fear among the rivals. Local people complained that a large number of anti-social elements have been brought from various areas and shifted to the three assembly segments and have been kept in houses so that they can be used at the time of polling on April 30. It is said that they are offered Rs. 5000 per head to work on polling booth.
Leaders of the regional party are threatening supporters of their rival candidate.
