Regional parties heading for a third Front

New Delhi: Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has urged to form the third Front by aligning with regional parties as an alternative for BJP and Congress. In this connection, he met with Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday. He also met West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday, in Kolkata. This is the second meeting of KCR with Mamata. He had also met her in March in Kolkata.

Meanwhile, national conference chief and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah met Mamata Banerjee at the state secretariat in Kolkata.

Trinamool Congress has proposed a rally of opposition parties on 19th of next month besides holding a meeting of leaders of various regional parties.
