Hyderabad: Prof. K. Kodandaram, President of Telangana Political Joint Action Committee released the post of the proposed conference on “Reforms and Opportunities of Jobs in Telnagana State”.
Talking to newsmen yesterday Prof. Kodandaram told that this conference would be held on 4th August at Sundaryya Vijyamma Kendram, Lingampally. He informed that there are 80 lakh unemployed youths in the age group 18-35 years who are graduates or postgraduates. The remaining 60 lakh youths are less educated. It is, therefore essential to reform the system in order to create jobs for the less educated youth force.
He pointed out that due to shortage of water agriculture is proving less advantageous. There is need to impart professional training to unemployed youths.
Issues relating to jobs, investments etc. would be focused in the proposed conference. The proceedings of the conference would be compiled in the form of a book containing proposals. It would be presented to Govt. for taking action.
Prof. Kodandaram pointed out that Telangana study circle is being run by the Govt. but Govt. is lethargic in appointing competent and experienced teachers. As a result of it, the future of the students is gloomy.
He told that a campaign indefinite hunger strike is being launched to invite the attention of the Govt. for the appointment of Director and experienced staff for Telangana study circle. This campaign has to moral support of Telangana Political JAC.
Prof. Kodandaram heavily condemned the decision of the Govt. for deducting one day’s salary of the employees of Singareni Collories for attending the ‘Jamala Samay’ program. He demanded the Govt. to release the salary of these employees. Present in the press conference was Mr. P. Ravinder, coordinator of Telangana Political Joint Action Committee.
