Hyderabad, November 10: The spokesman of Congress Mr. Rashid Alvi, M.P. hinted at referring the T-issue to the 2nd S.R.C. Mr. Digvijay Singh also favoured it. He was speaking to newsmen at New Delhi yesterday. He expressed the view that the problems of smaller states could be resolved only by appointing a second S.R.C.
Now that the demands for smaller states are being raised from other states, it is appropriate that such commission is constituted. Another important member of Core Committee Mr. Digviay Singh said that the policy of the Congress is very transparent. He opined that before splitting U.P., it should be referred to 2nd S.R.C. The C.M. of U.P. has demanded for the distribution of U.P. into four smaller states.
