The first Deputy Mayor of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation of newly formed Telangana state, Baba Fasihuddin pledged that he will give top priority to redressal of public grievances and will focus his attention towards implementation of city development plan prepared by TRS.
Speaking to Siasat following his election as deputy mayor, Baba Fasihuddin said he is associated with Telangana movement since the formation of TRS in 2001 and is fully aware of public grievances as president Greater Hyderabad TRS youth wing.
Baba Fasihuddin was elected as corporator from Borabanda division. He thanked Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and IT Minister KT Rama Rao for assigning him such a high post.
