Riyadh, July 03: The news of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Labour for categorization of companies into Distinct, Green Yellow and Red fell on the NRI’s like a thunderbolt. Foreign workers in Saudi Arabia were perturbed with this news and then had started a series of rumours which frightened the atmosphere to a larger extent and increased confusions. Govt. started clarifications which started minimizing tensions from the minds of the NRI’s.
According to a statement of the Secretary, Ministry of Labour published in the local dailies on Wednesday, it is said that on account of the categorization of companies, an environment of competition will be generated among the companies which will enhance employment opportunities for the Saudi citizens.
The secretary also informed that the companies falling under Green category will get all the privileges. Companies classified as Blue category will get some time to rectify their recruitment policies. Red category companies will have to face disciplinary action.
