Recommendation has been made to Telangana Public Service Commission for recruitment of 700-member staff in the first phase for 70 English Medium Residential Schools to be established for minorities in Telangana. It is hoped that the recruitment process will be complete within 2 months.
The Telangana government plans to establish residential schools which will start functioning from June next year of which 35 schools will be for girls. The government has constituted separate Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society for minority schools chaired by Deputy Chief Minster and Education Minister Kadiyam Sri Hari. Director General Anti Corruption Bureau A K Khan is the Vice Chairman of the society.
Government has sanctioned 1960-member staff for the schools while services of 250 persons will be hired on outsourcing basis.
