Responsibilities:
Influence and create new designs and methods for deploying large-scale cloud based SW solution
Rethink distributed configuration management in E.ON’s cloud environment
Automate deployments
Set-up and maintain Continuous Delivery pipelines for application & infrastructure delivery
Build resilient services which utilize telemetry and metrics to drive operational excellence
Design the upcoming internal docker registry
Be responsible for dockerization of already developed software
Create release and smoke testing chains
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, with Master’s or Diploma preferred
Proven leadership skills and functional team lead experience for several years
Proven, high rated docker and development skills (python, go, scala, groovy, etc)
Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS container services
Experience with software virtualization and containerization using docker, mesos, kubernetes, swarm
Strong problem solving attitude, addicted to DevOps and DataOps
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
High analytical and conceptual skills
Strong communication and moderation skills as well as strong interpersonal skills with developers, peers and stakeholders
English and German language on a high proficiency
