Govt. of AP has decided to recruit young boys and girls to eradicate unemployment in the State. In Police department 18 thousand posts would be filled up. It was revealed by Home Minister Ms. Sabeetha Indira Reddy in an interview given to Staff Reporter of Siasat Urdu Daily yesterday.
Giving the details of the posts, she said that constables, home guards, jail wardness and other posts would be filled up. She also said that 18 new police stations will also be set up. Where lady police staff would be posted. Girls who have passed would be recruited as women police constables. Girls having the height of 5ft and 5 inches can submit their applications by contacting the offices of the concerned superintendents of police.
She warned the girls not to entertain any middleman. She also said that Muslim girls can join police service with Hijaab (Veil). She said that Govt. is taking stern action in dowry harassment cases which are yielding fruitful results. She told the parents of the girls not to encourage those who demand dowry. She expressed her contentment on the law and order situation of the state.
