(Siasat News) Mr. M. Dana Kishore, IAS, Secretary to Govt. Minorities Welfare Dept., Govt. of A.P. gave an assurance to a TRS delegation led by Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Chairman of the Minorities Cell of TRS that the officials involved in the misappropriation of funds of the Minorities Finance Corporation won’t be spared. The delegation had presented a memorandum to him complaining that the Revenue officials are issuing income certificates for more amounts than the actual. A demand was made to remove the condition of production of income certificate in respect of students studying in Govt. Schools.
TRS delegation also demanded the Govt. to grant monthly pensions to senior Urdu poets and writers. A representation was made for the establishment of a passport office in the old city also in order to overcome the inconvenience to go to a far off place located in Secunderabad. The delegation apprised him of the problems the tenants of Bachelors’ Quarters of Moazzam Jahi Market are facing.
Mr. M. Dana Kishore, Secretary, Minority Welfare assured the delegation that he will take necessary action on all these issues. The delegation of TRS included Mr. Mohammed Shabbeer Ahmed, Mr. Mohammed Arifuddin, Mr. Omer Bin Qasim and Mr. Shaik Anwar.
