Former Minister Danam Nagender today urged Telangana Government to cancel five acres land allotted to ISCON in Banjara Hills for construction of Lakshmi Narsimha Swamy temple. The Congress leader called on IT Minister KT Rama Rao, Home Minister N Narsimha Reddy, T Srinivas Yadav and Padma Rao Goud and discussed on this issue. He appealed them to recover the land in the larger interests of the public. Later he told reporters that he sought the government to cancel the land. Nagender exuded confidence that the government will take back the land. The temple is ought to be built by the Yadadri Temple authorities (Nalgonda) and the Congress leaders have been demanding for the same for some time. (NSS)
