Syed Omer Jaleel of Telangana Minorities’ Welfare Department on Friday announced that entire records of Wakf properties will be made available online soon.
Speaking to media person after assuming charge of the Special Secretary, Omer Jaleel said that “the computerization of Wakf records had been completed and after cross-verification, they would be made available online”.He said this would bring transparency and we will ensure the protection of Wakf properties in the State.
When asked about Shaadi Mubarak scheme he said, so far, about 1993 applications had been received under Shaadi Mubarak scheme, of them, nearly 600 applications are approved by government.
Hinting at further modification in Shaadi Mubarak scheme, He said all DMWOs would be given targets for the effective implementation of Shaadi Mubarak scheme.
He informed that the banks would be pressurised to provide loans to jobless youth. The benefits of several Central government schemes would be extended to the minority youth in Telangana State, he said.
