Refuting the charges of MLA Veerasiva Reddy and former MLA Varadarajulu Reddy, both from Kadapa district, Health Minister Dr D L Ravindra Reddy has said that the duo exhibited their cheap and heinous mentality by accusing him as a covert in the party.
Speaking to the media here on Thursday, Dr D L said that he never prostrated before any chief minister for a berth in cabinet. He dared his critics to cause an inquiry by a sitting judge into the charges against him.
Faulting Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy for not raising his voice against YSRCP Chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, DL alleged that the real covert was none other than the Chief Minister. He asked the Chief Minister whether it was not true that he (Kiran) had requested the Speaker not to disqualify MLAs Srikanth Reddy and Srinivasulu.
The Health Minister strongly believed that the party high command would initiate stern action against some leaders in the State after June 12 by-elections. (NSS)
