Hyderabad, May 11: The Election Commission has announced that there would be re-polling in the 108 polling centre set up in the Bellam Mandi (Jaggery Market) in Kadapa on Thursday.
The commission has said that polling would start at 0800 hrs and go one till 1700. Counting will be held on May 13 for both the Kadapa Parliament and Pulivendula Assembly constituencies. Result may be out the same day as polling was by EVMs.
It may be recalled that the ruling Congress and the opposition TDP have both alleged that there was large scale rigging all over the Kadapa district. The TDP has demanded repelling in 12 polling centresl. The commission while dismissing the allegations, said there were irregularities only in one centre.
