Rayala-Telangana: New strategy of Congress: Kondandaram

(Siasat News) Chairman of Telangana Political Joint Action Committee told that Congress has floated the idea of Rayala-Telangana as the last strategy to stop the bifurcation of separate state of Telangana. Prof. Kondandaram, Chairman of Telangana Political JAC has threatened that if the process of formation of Telangana is delayed, the committee will start a massive protest. The members of JAC went to Raj Ghat yesterday and observed silence fast. They demanded formation of Telangana with (10) districts.

Later, they went to meet National Secretary of CPI Mr. S. Sudhakar Reddy and informed him about the conspiracy made by Congress to stop bifurcation of the state. As a last strategy Congress has suggested the scheme of Rayala-Telangana so that Telangana issue is shelved. He further told that the people of Telangana have been demanding a separate state but they never demanded Rayal-Telangana. The people of Rayalaseema are also not in favour of this new proposal.

S. Sudhakar Reddy told that right from the beginning his party is in favour of formation of Telangana with (10) districts. If Rayal-Telangana scheme is presented, CPI will oppose it.
