Rayadurgam tense as TDP leaders raid PS

Tension prevailed in Rayadurgam town of this district on Tuesday when TDP leaders and workers laid a siege to the local police station, protesting against the removal of the flexi boards they have set up in different parts on the occasion of the scheduled visit of the party chief N Chandrababu Naidu.

Municipal authorities reportedly removed all the flexi banners erected by the TDP local leaders, inviting their wrath. When the police officers, in consultation with the municipal authorities, have assured that the flexi banners would not be removed, TDP leaders had withdrawn their agitation. (NSS)
