Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party Polit Bureau Member Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy today criticized TRS Working President KTR and Chief Minister KCR for ignoring peoples’ welfare and making it a point to attack their political opponents including TDP.
In a press note here, Ravula said that the statements being made by KTR shows that even 75 days after TRS coming to power, KTR has not come out of the election atmosphere. KTR and KCR made it a point to criticize TDP and its leader N Chandrababu Naidu, who had actually given political life to KCR and made him a Minister for the first time.
KTR was repeatedly saying that TDP had never contested elections on its own, but it aligned with some party or the other. KTR should ponder over the fact that TRS had contested elections in alliance with Congress in 2004, as part of Maha Kootami in 2009 elections, with TDP alliance in 2009, and with MIM alliance in 2014 and 2018. He questioned how KTR was supporting YSRCP which had opposed Telangana State formation.
Ravula also disputed KTR’s talk of Chandrababu Naidu copying Telangana schemes and programme, and pointed out that in A p, unemployment allowance was being paid and pensions to Aged and Physically handicapped persons was increased, while these were not done in Telangana yet. He said that at least now, the TRS leaders should stop criticizing TDP and Chandrababu, but concentrate on fulfilling the promises made to the people.
