Ravi teja’s brother Bharat died in road mishap

HYDERABAD: Tollywood superstar Ravi Teja’s brother Bharat died in a road mishap on the Outer Ring Road(ORR) Shamshabad on Saturday.

The 45-yr-old who also acted in few Tollywood films was driving a red Skoda sedan. His car crashed into a parked truck at Kotwalguda in Shamshabad near Chennamma hotel.

The road mishap happened around 10.10pm when he was driving from Shamshabad to Gachibowli. He was earlier arrested for possessing cocaine.

RGI Airport inspector M Mahesh said, “Due to high speed collision, Bharat died on the spot. The truck broke down and it was parked on the road side”.

According to the Police the truck was not parked properly after it broke down which could be the reason for the accident. They are also investigating where Bharat was drunk and driving which caused him death. The Inspector of Police said “We will register a case against the truck driver” adding to that he said, “We will send the viscera to Forensic Science Laboratory for examination to see if the victim had consumed alcohol”.

His body was later sent for postmortem to Osmania General Hospital. His brother Raghu and his actor friend Uttej were not in a state to give any statement. “I am not in a condition to talk,” Uttej said, TOI reported.
