Ravi Shankar Prasad says: “We give importance to Muslims but they don’t vote for us”

New Delhi: BJP minister, while giving a speech at Mindmine summit, said that Muslims have not been victimised by BJP in any form in our country.

According to a report by DC, he told that Muslims don’t give any votes to BJP and even then they have maintained their sanctity in India. He mentioned these points while responding to a question regarding the acceptance of India’s diversity in development.

The minister appreciated several youths whom he came across while visiting many Muslim majority villages. He told that they help people getting the government jobs using the internet. He also exemplified a Muslim tea garden worker being listed by PM Modi for his outstanding work in Jalpaiguri.

The worker, Karimul Haque made an ambulance out of his motorbike to help people getting to the hospital, he added.

Prasad said that they have issues with people who unnecessarily spread hate in the country. There are certain journalists as well as some leaders who develop ill feelings towards the Prime Minister.

He appreciated the public of India and told that they have the power to unseat anyone from his position. Whosoever he may be, he can be shown the door.
