A notorious Rave party organizer-cum-immoral trafficking offender, who was on bail, was detained by Cyberabad Police under Preventive Detection Act.
As part of preventing immoral trafficking by rave party organizers/Immoral Trafficking offenders, who were acting in a manner prejudicial to the maintenance of public order, Cyberabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand, IPS, issued orders under Sub-Section (2) of Section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Boot Legers, Dacoits, Drug Offenders, Goondas Immoral Traffic Offenders and Land Grabbers Act, 1986 for detention of a habitual Rave party organizer Dilip Jain. Police said the accused has wide contacts in Mumbai, Kolkata and other cities from where he procures women for participation in obscene dances with music, consumption of drugs, liquor and prostitution. Despite several cases booked against him, Dilip Jain was continuing his illegal activity creating public disorder.
The accused Dilip Jain, 52, is a Marwadi and a native of Rajasthan. He was residing at Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad. He has been arranging Rave parties and spoiling the youths and causing disturbance of peace through his anti-social activities. As his acts have been adversely affecting the maintenance of the public order and peace in the locality, the CP had decided to detain the accused under the PD Act to prevent him to commit such offences. The accused was arrested and sent to Cherlapally Central Prison. The resorts where he was organizing rave parties will also be dealt under Section 133 Cr.P.C.
The police said there are some 300 farm houses and resorts under the Cyberabad police Commissionerate limits spread over 3,700 sq. km and despite issuing strict instructions to the owners of resorts and farm houses from time to time, they were allowing their properties to be used for illegal and anti social activities.
