The Andhra Pradesh High Court has expressed anguish over the ‘Rave parties’ on outskirts of the city. The Court has questioned the officials as to what they were doing when obscene programmes were taking place on the city outskirts.
The High court has taken up suo motto case newspaper reports about a rave party taking place at a resort in Hayathnagar Mandal of Ranga Reddy district. It has issued notices to the State government to file a counter with explanation within two weeks. The Court has issued notices to the government, DGP, Cyberabad Police Commissioner, including them as respondents, and posted the case by two weeks for hearing.
Hayathnagar and Banjara Hills Police took into custody some persons who were found committing illegal activities in the name of Rave parties. Hayathnagar Police took 25 men and 12 women from a Rave Party at a resort recently.
