Phagwara, August 10: Rat droppings (mengma) were found today in midday meal for students of a government primary school at Bhabiana village, 15 kms from here.
Some of the students took it to their parents who converged at the school and registered their protest against serving of such food to their wards.
Meena Parbhakar, School?s lady teacher incharge, returned the meal to the driver of the contractor. Village Sarpanch Joginder Paul and members of school panel were present when she did it.
