Hyderabad, September 25: Civil supplies Minister, Mr. J Krishna Rao said ‘new ration cards will be distributed under biometric systems from the month of November this year. Tenders have been invited in 7 districts of the state for this purpose.’ The minister launched the developmental activities worth 3 crore 3 lakh by Mahboobnagar Municipal.
He said ‘those who are not having ration cards should apply for the same. A total of 7 lakh applications for new ration cards have been received so far.’
He said ‘those who don’t have ration cards at present need not worry as all the persons entitled for will be issued fresh ration cards within two or three months.’
