A rat in chutney was served at a tiffin centre

Joseph, a transport supervisor of a private school was happily enjoying his meals when all of a sudden had a shock of his life when he saw a dead rat in the chutney he was eating at a tiffin centre in Sanathnagar on Sunday.
He immediately lodged a complaint. And based on his complaint, the Sanathnagar police have registered a case against the tiffin centre owner

Joseph who is a resident of Gayathrinagar in Borabanda went to a church in SRT Colony of Sanathnagar on Sunday morning. After the prayers, he went to have breakfast at Gayathri tiffin centre at SRT Colony and ordered idli.

As said by Sanathnagar Sub-Inspector (SI) C Ramesh Naik, “Joseph took chutney twice and when he went for a third refill, a dead rat was found in the chutney vessel.”

Joseph immediately lodged a complaint with the Sanathnagar police and a petty case was registered. “As the offence was non cognizable, we will seek legal opinion and then transfer the case to GHMC authorities,” the Sub-Inspector said.
