Rashami Desai launches her app

Mumbai: Television actress Rashami Desai, who rose to fame with the serial “Uttaran”, on Friday launched her own app “Rashami Desai Official App” to build a more personal equation with her fans.

“I have always enjoyed keeping in touch with my fans and interacting with them but with this, we take it one step ahead since it’s so personalized! I’m hoping to keep it very interactive and I promise to keep checking it as often as possible,” Rashami said in a statement.

“I will have a lot of contests, exciting gratifications and much beyond my life on television. I am really excited to personally connect with all my fans,” she added.

The app, which has been developed from US-based tech firm escapex, will be available on Android and iOS devices.

Ali Asgar excited about ‘Kanpur Wale Khuranas’

Actor-comedian Ali Asgar, who gained huge popularity as ‘Dadi’ in “Comedy Nights With Kapil”, is excited for his new show “Kanpur Wale Khuranas”.

Ali will share screen space with actor Kunal Kemmu and comedian Sunil Grover in the show.

“I am happy to be working alongside my close friend Sunil Grover. The show’s unique concept of rounding up the highlights of the year 2018 through a family comedy drew me towards it. I am excited for the show and hope the viewers enjoy it as much as I enjoy playing my character.”

The comedian will be seen playing the role of Sunil’s sister-in-law in the show, which will premiere soon on StarPlus.

Aakriti from ‘Kullfi…’ recalls her first autograph moment

“Kullfi Kumar Bajewala” child artiste Aakriti Sharma says she gave her first autograph to her school friends.

“When I went to school a few weeks ago, the entire school stood outside my class waiting to take pictures and my autographs. I was really overwhelmed by their response and patiently met everyone.

“I gave my first autograph to my friends in school and I felt very nice. They told me how much they love the show and my acting,” Aakriti said in a statement.

As a gesture, Aakriti now wants to get her “friends on shoot so that she can spend an entire day with them post exams”.

“Kullfi Kumar Bajewala”, which airs on StarPlus, tells the story of seven-year-old Kullfi and her talent of composing a song on every situation.
