Jaipur: Rajasthan government today suspended RAS officer Nishkam Diwakar who was arrested recently by the Anti-Corruption Bureau for his alleged role in irregularities in a land deal.
The suspension order for Diwakar, who was the CEO of Banswara Zila Parishad, was issued today by the Department of Personnel of the state government.
The case pertains to the illegal transfer of lease deed of a society land to a private firm by Jaipur Development Authority in 2011 when Congress government was in power.
The ACB has also summoned former Urban Housing and Development Minister Shanti Dhariwal and ex-IAS officer G S Sandhu, who was Principal Secretary UDH in 2011, for interrogation in the case.
