Bhadrak (Odisha): A man brutally raped a minor in front of her mother while killing the mother for attempting to save the child on Sunday.
The shocking incident is reported from Bhadrak district’s Talasitha village where the accused killed her mother and raped the minor on Sunday night when they were alone at their home, PTI reported.
According to Inspector-in-Charge of Dhamnagar police station Bandana Patra the accused is a resident of the same village. He is reported to have killed the minor girl’s mother and tied the minor girl after raping her to the pillar and fled the crime scene.
The victim has alleged that the accused forcibly entered their house and sexually assaulted but when the mother protested and tried to save her daughter, the accused hit her with a pestle (a heavy stone material used for grinding) and raped the girl, Patra added.
