Lucknow, February 26:Two women were arrested today for their alleged involvement in the rape of a teenaged girl in Uttar Pradesh’s Jhansi district, police said.
A woman, her mother and four men allegedly abducted a girl from Akhandanand Inter-College on February 24, they said adding she was later raped by four men.
An FIR was registered in this connection against six persons, including two women who had been arrested.
A hunt was on to nab the remaining four, police said. PTI
