Rao demands Jagan to spell stand

Guntur, July 05: The senior TDP leader, Mr Kodela Sivaprasada Rao, here on Tuesday demanded that the YSR Congress Party president, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, declare whether he advocates regionalism or integration.

Speaking to mediapersons here, the former Home Minister asked Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy to declare his stand when the people of both the regions were fighting for State bifurcation and status quo.

Mr Kodela said the legislators of both the Congress and Telugu Desam parties competed with each other in submitting resignations to membership of Assembly with an intention that their rivals should not get credit of resigning for separate State. Ultimately, the resignations have created political uncertainty in the State, he added. He also strongly felt that Union government might resort to impose President’s rule in the State.
