Jaipur, January 24: T C A Ranganathan will take over as Managing Director of State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur (SBBJ) on February one.
Rangnathan was earlier Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, Ahmedabad Circle from February 2009, an official said tonight.
He joined SBI as a Probationary Officer in September 1975 and has held several important assignments like Senior Vice President & Head, SBI Capital Markets Delhi, and General Manager, Mid Corporate Group, New Delhi.
He was deputed to start the China operations of SBI in September 2005 as CEO of their Shanghai branch.
SBI was the first bank from India to commence business in China.
