TDP MLA P Ramulu on Sunday denied reports that he was planning to quit the Telugu Desam Party.
In a media statement released here, Achampet MLA Ramulu dismissed the reports that appeared in a section of media and described them as mere speculation. He denied the reports that he was planning to contest from Nagarkurnool constituency on Congress party’s ticket. He said that the publication did not even verify the details with him. He slammed the daily newspapers for publishing a fabricated report aimed at confusing the TDP cadre.
Stating that there was no question of him leaving the TDP, which gave him a political identity and career, he appealed to the TDP cadre not to believe such reports. He announced that he would remain with the TDP till his last breath. (INN)
