A large number of visitors visit Dargah Hazrat Baba Sharfuddin irrespective of religion and community. The dargah is more than 700 years old. The dargah is located on a high hill hence the area is also known as Pahadi Shareef. To reach the Dargah Hazrat Baba Sharfuddin Soharwardi located on high hill the visitors have to climb 360 steps. Elderly people had a tough time doing this.
Waqf Board has planned to lay a ramp leading to Dargah Hazrat Baba Sharfuddin which will make it convenient for the visitors to reach the dargah. Not only the land has been identified in this connection but survey work has also begun. Waqf Board chairman Maulana Syed Shah Ghulam Afzal Biabani has taken personal interest into the matter.
Taking into view the difficulties of visitors he had also laid carpet on the 360 steps leading to dargah with the expenditure of Rs 2 lakh.
