Media baron Ramoji Rao on Friday appeared before a special court here in connection with a defamation case filed against him.
Following summons issued by 2nd Special Magistrate Court, Ramoji Rao appeared in person before the court with regard to a case filed by Chandrasekhar Rao, son of a revenue official. In his complaint, Chandrasekhar alleged that defamatory articles were published against his father Janardhan Rao in Eanadu newspaper, owned by Ramoji Rao.
However, when asked by the magistrate, Ramoji Rao refuted the allegations leveled against him. The case has been adjourned for next hearing on November 15.
