Government Advisor and Telangana State Brahmin Corporation Chairman Dr KV Ramanachary today stressed the need for transforming ancient history and culture to the present and future generations.
Ramanachary released “Telangana Kotalu” (Telangana Forts) a booklet comprising details of 25 citadels across the State. He appreciated the author Nagabala Suresh Kumar for his efforts and bringing out the book with analytical details. “It will prove handy for those who want to know about our history, culture and tradition”, he said. He also vouched for bringing out to light the details of other such forts in the State through research and study. Besides printing books, there is also a need for short films on the forts located in the State, he said.
Information & Public Relations Commissioner Navin Mittal appreciated the author for his tour and efforts to unravel the facts of the history of the State through the book. He exuded confidence that “Telangana Kotalu” book will help university students, researchers, historians and tourists to find the history of the State.
Film Writers Association president Paruchuri Goapala Krishna appreciated the author and said everyone has to read the book to know about great history of Telangana. He gave a pat to the author for dedicating the book to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who is making efforts to bring out the history kept in dark for many decades to the limelight.
Noted author and Telangana Television Writers Association founder-president Nagabala Suresh Kumar said he toured for two-and-a-half years to find the details of the forts. The book comprises the details of 25 forts across the State and which was widely published in Telangana monthly magazine for 21 months, he said. “Telagnana Kotalu” Book is being dedicated to KCR, he added. Cine Director Allani Sridhar, film writer Dr Vaddepali Krishna and others were also present. (NSS)
