Advisor to Telangana Government (Welfare) Mr. A.Ramalakshman, IAS (Retd.) reviewed the performance of Minority Welfare department on Wednesday. Convening a review meeting with chiefs of Waqf Board, Minority Finance Corporation, Urdu Academy and other institutions, he got details regarding implementation of various schemes and budget spending.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao appointed Ramalakshman as advisor to the government for effective implementation of welfare schemes. He was earlier serving as principal secretary Minority Welfare.
A. Ramalakshman is said to have directed officers to ensure implementation of schemes regarding educational and economic development of minorities. He advised to chalk out a plan for schemes related to provision of loan to eliminate economic backwardness of minorities by associating them with small businesses.
