‘Ram Setu’ or Adam’s Bridge is man-made declares Discover Science

New Delhi: The famous ‘Ram Setu’ bridge believed to be made by Ram according to Hindu Mythology which connects India and Sri Lanka is not a natural Phenomena and made by man stated a US Television show today.

Discovery’s Science Channel today has newscast this Wednesday morning the groundbreaking findings of the famous Ram Setu, also known as Adam’s Bridge, is man-made which has set the social media into buzz about the recent declaration.

It was in 2008, the then Congress-led UPA in Centre had told the Supreme Court that no bridge existed between India and Sri Lanka which received strong criticism from the now ruling Party BJP who alleged Congress of playing with people’s belief of Ram creating that Ram Setu, reports Times Now.

According to a TOI report dating back to July 2008, the then Government stated: “There is no bridge. It was not a man-made structure. It may be a superman-made structure, but the same superman had destroyed it. That is why for centuries nobody mentioned anything about it. It (Ram Setu) has become an object of worship only recently.”
