Ram Rahim’s aides became gay to avoid castration at Dera

New Delhi: In a revelation about the Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, one of his followers said that those who wanted to escape castration became homosexuals in his ashram.

Ram Rahim has been accused of castrating his followers because he was a sex maniac and felt jealous of his disciples. According to a former Dera follower, Gurdas Singh Toor, Ram Rahim thought by castrating them, he can take them under his control and also he did not want them to mingle with female disciples.

He even went up to the extent of compelling the male followers to call their wives as sisters, reports One India.

If any of them were caught with the female followers or sadhvis, they would be publicly humiliated. Many turned gay for the fear of being castrated.

Gradually homosexuality was initiated at the Dera. Many practised homosexuality to satisfy their desire and also for the fear of being castrated.

Ram Rahim was sentenced to 20 years in jail after getting convicted in the rape case of two sadhvis. He is also facing another case charge of murder.
