Mumbai: On the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of Najeeb’s disappearance, a march will be taken out from Mandi House to Parliament Street on October 15. Najeeb’s mother Fatima Nafees, Rohit Vemula’s mother Radhika Vemula will also participate in the march. Saira Khan, mother of Junaid who was killed in mob lynching is also likely to participate in the demonstration. Campaign for march is intensified on social media which is supported by Umar Khalid, Shehla Rasheed, John Dayal and others.
The Central Bureau of Investigation has closed the case of missing JNU student Najeeb Ahmad as the agency’s efforts to trace him have yielded no results.
Fatima Nafees has alleged that CBI is working under pressure hence SIT should be set up for a fair investigation. Najeeb’s mother vowed that her battle for the search of Najeeb will continue until he is found out.
