Gandhinagar (Gujarat),[India]: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore will be on a one-day visit to Gujarat today.
He will attend the seminar on “Cinematic Tourism- the Way Forward” to be held at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar as a Chief Guest.
The seminar has been organized by the tourism department of Gujarat government.
Gujarat Governor Om Prakash Kohli will inaugurate the seminar- which is considered as the pre-event seminar of Vibrant Gujarat 2017.
The seminar is aimed to project Gujarat as the new destination of cinematic tourism in coming years.
Gujarati film industry has registered a record box office collection of 550 million rupees during the year 2015, which was only 70 million rupees in previous year. (ANI)
