Rajnath Singh’s assurance regarding Muslim Personal Law proven false, Dy CM’s representation also proved futile

Hyderabad: Union Home Minister, Mr. Rajnath Singh’s false promise that government will not interfere into Muslim Personal Law was exposed when the Centre submitted an affidavit in the Supreme Court against Muslim Personal Law. Thus it has been tried to directly interfere into Islamic Shariah.

It must be noted that Mr. Rajnath Singh had given clear assurance to Mr. Mahmood Ali that Govt. didn’t have any intention to interfere in Muslim Personal Law. He also said that Govt. was not taking any steps for the implementation of Uniform Civil Code. He had advised the Muslims not to have any apprehensions.

But only after a few days of the assurance, the central government submitted a 26-page affidavit against triple Talaq and polygamy. This has created apprehensions among Muslims. They feel that Muslim parties and associations should unitedly fight against such nefarious efforts against Shariah. People also feel that Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali should represent Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao against interference in Islamic Shariah. If TRS government is pro-Muslims and is in favour of protecting Islamic Shariah then chief Minister should send a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi opposing the affidavit, which is against Islam.
