Rajkhowa wife visits ULFA leader Daimary

Guwahati, March 07: Kaveri Kochari, wife of jailed ULFA chairman Arabindo Rajkhowa, and Hagrama Mohilary, chief of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), today visited the outfit’s self-styled publicity secretary Mithinga Daimary at his house at Jeleki in Assam’s Baksa district.

Kaveri, who earlier met her husband in the Guwahati central jail, called on Daimary, released recently on bail by a court.

In 1999, in the same house, Daimary’s mother, brother, sister-in-law and sister were killed by unknown assailants.

The ULFA chairman’s wife, who hails from the same village, later said she was happy to meet Daimary after a long time and hoped that the insurgency problem will be solved soon through negotiation.

Mohilary, who is a longtime friend of Daimary, also called on him and expressed happiness of meeting him after “so many years”.
