Rajiv Swagruha Corporation in financial crisis

Housing Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy on Tuesday admitted that the Rajiv Swagruha Corporation was in financial crisis.

Replying to a question raised by MLA Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy and others during Question Hour in the State Legislative Assembly, the minister said that 6,490 houses were constructed and 1,771 houses are handed over to the allottees by the corporation. The minister informed that the government has constituted a Group of Ministers to recommend measures to be taken to overcome the financial crisis in the corporation and to complete the ongoing works.

Uttam Kumar said that after receiving the recommendations of Group of Ministers, steps would be taken for completion of the ongoing works and protect the interest of applicants for houses/flats. (INN)
