New Delhi, August 16: Rajasthan BJP leader Vasundhara Raje is not taking the central leadership’s directive to quit lying down. Her supporters arequestioning the party high commands decision asking her to quit her post on grounds of poor poll performance.
The anger in the Raje camp is palpable. Some are even hinting of breaking the state BJP unit and forming a new party, and have accused the party high command of “double standards”. They alleged Advani was trying to divert attention to Rajasthan to escape the pressure from above (RSS) on itself. They have called on the high command to analyse the situation.
Raje has reportedly called her supporters for a meeting on Sunday to chalk out her future course of action.
